Some links have been submitted even though they do not meet the criteria that I set on the Link Approval Settings page. Why is this?:

The link submission criteria on the Link Approval Settings page (including Required Minimum PageRank For Reciprocal Link, Required Location For Reciprocal Link, and Combination of Reciprocal Link Requirements) apply to links that are submitted through your site's link submission form. They do not apply, however, to InstantLinks (automated link exchanges with other sites that use LinkMachine).

In order to exchange InstantLinks, LinkMachine does require that there is a link from the site's home page to the site's link directory, for both sites exchanging links.
