When this error occurs it means that LinkMachine is unable to access web sites. If this occurs regularly, go to Site Settings, check the checkbox labelled Use CURL to Open Web Pages and click Submit Changes, then try again. If that fails to solve the problem or if the error occurs only sporadically, you will need to contact your web host's tech support to report the problem. If this error occurs only sporadically, for example occassionally while LinkMachine is checking reciprocal links, you can have LinkMachine try again by clicking your browser's Back button, then its Refresh button.
