After attempting to install LinkMachine, the LinkMachine admin page now appears at my site's home page address. What happened?

Did you install LinkMachine using the install.php installation script? If so, did you create a "linkmachine" subdirectory on your site and upload the "install.php" script into that subdirectory, as described in the readme.txt file?

If the install.php script was run within your site's main (root) directory instead of a new subdirectory, then the LinkMachine files would have been installed in your site's main directory. This includes a file named "index.html" which would then have replaced your site's index page.

If this is the case, I recommend removing all of the files that LinkMachine installed from your site's main directory, and re-uploading your own index.html file. Then you can re-install LinkMachine into its own subdirectory by creating a "linkmachine" subdirectory on your site, uploading "install.php" into that subdirectory, and running that installation script there.
