When adding links, how can I prevent duplicates of existing links from being added?

When adding InstantLinks or adding links by a keyword search, LinkMachine automatically prevents a link from being added if there is already a link in your database with the same URL.

When importing links from a web page or adding links manually, however, duplicate links are not filtered out.

Here is one way to check for duplicate links. Go to Change Settings, Backup Data, and follow the directions under Export Link Data To .csv Format File. Once you've downloaded your link database as a .csv file, open that file in a spreadsheet application such as Excel. From there, you can sort the list of links by URL, and a quick scan of the list will then reveal any duplicates. You can then delete any duplicates you don't want from your LinkMachine Site List.
